FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT - SPV & SECURITISATIONSJoin a dynamic and fast-growing corporate services provider with a strong international presence, including offices in Dublin and London. This exciting role is based in the heart of Luxembourg City, offering the successful candidate the chance to work alongside a dynamic team of accountants, legal professionals, and compliance specialists. THE JOB:
The successful candidate will join a growing team and will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of a portfolio of Luxembourg-domiciled corporate clients and special purpose vehicles (SPVs), including securitisation structures established to participate in capital market transactions.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate can expect to be involved in and take responsibility for the following tasks:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of corporate entities;
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts as required by clients;
- Preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., Lux GAAP, IFRS);
- Assist in the coordination of year-end audits;
- Payments and cash flow management;
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and corporate tax declarations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., CSSF, BCL, ECDF);
- Liaise with clients, investment managers, external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and other stakeholders;
- Ensure that ethical standards and human rights principles are upheld across all areas of responsibility.
- Participate in client, board, and shareholder meetings;
- Support the team in improving processes and implementing best practices; and
- Support the business in responding to client needs on an ongoing basis.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in fund or SPV accounting, ideally within the Luxembourg financial services sector
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and familiarity with IFRS;
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) or commitment to pursue one;
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of French or German is an advantage;
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel; experience with fund accounting system, e-Front is beneficial;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively;
- Clear communicator with a professional and client-focused approach; and
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
