Shelter Homes LLC seeks Risk Management Accountant w/Masters in Biz Analytics, Accting, Finance or rltd & 1 yr exp to analy & prep financial statemnts, accting recs, & reps for accuracy & compliance; rev gen ledger transacts to ensure completeness & adherence to int controls; perf int control test & rec improv; conduct oper or financ’l audits to assess compliance & risk exposure; ident fraud, inefficiencies, & ctrl gaps in accting processes; collab w/compliance & legal teams on risk mitigation strats; supp enterprise risk mngt initiatives & control frameworks (e.g.COSO,SOX); analy financ’l trends & vars to identify risks & inf biz decisions; lead period-end closings; prep & present financ’l rep packages & results to mngt, incl analysis of regulat compliance matters; research tech accting issues to ensure compliance w/GAAP; maint fixed asset scheds & ensure accurate accting of capitalization, depreciation, & disposals.
